MI & L'AU (CD)
The debut album from Brooklynites MI and L'AU (a collaborator with Devendra Banheart, who wrote the song "Gentle Soul" for L'au). Thirteen tracks of austere yet simultaneously warm music, delivered bare and delicate with simple instrumentation and sparse orchestrations. The songs have the naked quality of certain early Nico recordings, soulful and elegant without being touchy-feely or confessional.
