"After after" concludes the trilogy of albums that began with "The Fire of Years" in 2004, Trettioåriga Kriget's amazingly strong comeback after twenty years. Actually, the band had never split up, just taken a long break - now the same six members made more intense music than ever before, songs full of experience and self-reliance. "After after" builds, like the previous albums of the War's phase II, on a batch of strong songs, mostly written by Stefan Fredin, on accomplished ensemble playing, and on the lyrics of founder member Olle Thörnvall. As a whole, the trilogy forms the autobiography of Trettioåriga Kriget, a more mature retrospective than most bands are capable of.
