After Dream Theater already continued their new archive series "Lost Not Forgotten Archives" in January with "The Majesty Demos (1985/1986)", the progressive metal icons don't let wait long for the next rarity: "Lost Not Forgotten Archives: Awake Demos (1994)" is the name of the seventh part of the series. Back in June 2021, Dream Theater launched the album series, reissuing several albums from the long-running YtseJam catalog with the support of the Inside Out label. The collector's edition is complemented by a few new releases. YtseJam Records, founded by Mike Portnoy at the time, was already the publisher of Dream Theater's official bootleg collection, which includes live shows, demos and studio outtakes from throughout the band's career. As part of "Lost Not Forgotten Archives," the entire collection is being re-released on CD as well as on vinyl for the first time with brand new artwork and packaging.
