Hollow Shrine = Digipack = (CD)
"Hollow Shrine" cannot be deployed by its tracks. Every track has its own hype, while most are diverged from the Funk THE SIXXIS persist on having layered at every single bit. There's no malice in that fact being hardwired to their sound. What I also really appreciate is the vocal lines almost storytelling the music in its backdrop. If you'll hear the pungent instrumental "Coke Can Steve", you'll be facing a lucid tale, describing pent-up anger in its most purified form. "Hollow Shrine" is a more vexed version of the European doleful hard rock sound, and with given that THE SIXXIS are merely at their first footsteps in the stairway to heaven and also, with "Hollow Shrine" being their debut release, I stand gratefully awaited to hear what more can these rising stars put up for our pleasure. The next effort 'oughta be an even elaborate demonstration of this landfill of the almost TOOL-style Funk Metal extravaganza.
