40 Minutes To Impact (CD)
Judgement Day is a veteran act from the Dutch scene of more than ten years ago, from the days when bands like Pestilence and Gorefest ruled the scene. The band started out in 1989 with a first demo under their belt in 1990. In 1991 their second demo ?Corpseflakes? caused a small whirlwind in the underground-scene, selling over 800 copies, but no record-deal was found. After doing a lot of live-shows the band recorded their third demo in 1994 and finally the long-awaited deal was scored with Effigy Records from Norway. This album called ?Circumcision of the Martyr? led to a tour with Krabathor. Then it all fell apart and in 1996/97 many changes occurred in the band?s line-up. It took unto 2000 to release a new 7? EP followed by a MCD in 2002, released by the band themselves. So all in all Judgement Day is definitely not a new band anymore and they always had a steady following in the Death Metal underground. Ofcourse they lost some ground in the last five years, but the new album will show the world Judgement Day is still alive and kicking! Tracks list: 40 Minutes to Impact, MMXII A.D., Damnation for All, A Room with a View, A Soul so Pure, To Conjure Conjoint Confusion, 20 Minutes to Impact, Murder for Truth, 11 Minutes to Impact, Final Judgement, March of the Apocalypse.
