The album was mixed by famous producer Harris Johns, who previously worked with such acts as Kreator, Sodom, Therion and Helloween. This fact made "Nailwork" a truly memorable release. The definite highlight of the album was the surprising cover version of "Black Velvet" by Allanah Myles. The album featured also some great guest appearances - the first Night In Gales singer Christian Müller as well as Dew-Scented's Leffe Jensen did some sicko screams, while old friend Ozan Sahinbas (school mate of Jens and guitarist in God Said War back then) laid down some crazy lead guitar tracks and finally Harris himself did some backing choirs.
