Born In America = LP = (LP)
Born in America, the fifth release from Riot would be the last album to feature vocalist Rhett Forrester, guitarist Rick Ventura, drummer Sandy Slavin and bassist Kip Leming; possibly the band's most revered lineup. Born In America was much more of a Heavy metal album then it's predecessor's, setting the tone for Riot's progression towards a heavy sound on their next album, Thundersteel. Includes the tracks 'You Burn In Me', 'Wings Of Fire', 'Where Soldiers Rule' and many others. The band would normally take a year or two between albums, but after Born In America and the departure of Forrester, it would be another five years before they would surface again.
