Still Life = OBI Strip = (CD)
It has always been a coin-flip type of situation for me when I asked myself which Opeth album is my favorite: heads, it's "Blackwater Park", tails goes to "Still Life". When pressed for a final decision I would lean toward "Blackwater Park" and the flawless Steve Wilson production sound. But now...a remastered "Still Life" with crisp lead guitars and clean cymbal crashes and gunfire drumming has the argument starting all over again in my indecisive brain! The epic riffs, the crushing vocals, the tight rhythms and creative percussion, all have me stammering in awe! Here, keep the coin, both albums are amazing! Both are essential Opeth.
