Recorded by this Alberta, Canada three-piece in their own home studio in 1968 and 1969, Troyka is a superb and utterly unconventional collection of hard psych-tinged rock, with some surprising ethnic flourishes. Though it fell between the tracks on its release in 1970, it has gone on to be acclaimed as one of the better obscurities of the era, and is presented here complete with a band history.
