Split = 7" = (7")
INERDS have a lot of powerviolence elements and tempo changes, but with riffs that are more moody than misanthropic. Their decently written songs are made great by the interesting sounds that the band went for, including what sounds like distortion on the vocals and a thin but piercing, fuzzy, solid-state guitar tone (think that of Reagan Youth, but harder hitting). The male and female vocalists trade off, with the former doing a SPAZZ/INFEST thing that sounds muffled (though not in a bad way) and the latter makes me think of the singer of WALLS OF JERICHO, of all things. COWORKERS are soulful yet pessimistic, falling somewhere between later BORN AGAINST and Revolution Summer stuff both musically and thematically. Not as much to elaborate on here.
