Ticks And Ants EP = 7" = (7")
Rosvo is a a sonic cross between houses falling from a great high, very traditional hardcore punkrock and the noisier sides of things. Taking the world of bands like Unsane, early Today Is The Day, or peers ken Mode to another level. The Rosvo live experience is audience engaging, tight, funny, communicate, and verbally provocative, unlike the jockmentality of many "muscle & tattoo"-bands in the world of hardcore/metal. The four gentlemen of Rosvo gladly admit a great love of bands like The Melvins, Unsane, Neurosis, Converge but are just as enthusiastic about modern dance music, 70's disco, Laurie Anderson and The Human Leauge. Not that it would be the most evident influence of the quartet whose unique sound holds a loving but Snot-nosed approach to their specific genre. The band carry a general vibe of positive attitudes and general outlook, something refreshing in a scene often cumbersome with clichés and negative platitudes. Entertaining and provoctative? Why certainly! Peter Dolving from Haunted on Vocals and Hans Simonen from Voice of a Generation on bas.
