This album was recorded during the 117 shows live tour (Wired & Blow by Blow) of 1976/1977. The show given on Aug 31st 1976 was the one to provide the majority of tracks for this live album. Beck is backed by an amazing jazz/rock infused band lead by Jan Hammer. Clearly dominant on this album are the extraordinary soloís from both Beck and Hammer. Fans consider this album to be one of the greatest fusion live recordings of all time.
