For The Music is Blackfield's most ambitious and expansive album to date, fusing their psychedelic sounds into a perfect pop sensibility while carrying a serious and sometimes dark undertone.
As on the previous album "Blackfield V" Aviv has again taken a central role as producer, lyricist, composer and instrumentalist, but Steven is still very committed, plays guitar on several tracks and sings the lead vocals on 3 songs. The ten tracks of The Music range from psyche driven melodies to exquisite balladry; a compact and fully realized expression of modern pop.
