Foxygen, the duo consisting of Sam France and Jonathan Rado, release their fourth album with "Hang". And this time, they've become a big band. Written and produced in Los Angeles, every song on "Hang" was recorded with a 40-piece symphony orchestra, arranged by Trey Pollard and partially by Matthew E. White. Other guest musicians include the Lemon Twigs and Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips The album opener "Follow The Leader" is one of the more upbeat songs on "Hang". Or as the band says, "It was a blast to write the song. It's a positive anthem with some lyrical scenarios that we don't quite understand ourselves." Once again, the duo showcases their incredible talent for weaving together a multitude of influences into a sophisticated, uncompromising vision.
