Absolutely killer heavy/power metal with progressive, electronic and bombastic elements. Active keyboard work highlights Cosimo Binetti's gifted guitar work, with expressive mid-range vocals keeping pace with the energetic rhythm section. Fans of Blind Guardian, Crimson Glory, Savatage, Labyrinth and Queensryche will approve of this Italian act's high-quality and fairly original take on a sound that too many bands do nothing new with. The Dogma hopefully have 10 more albums in them, but if this is the only one they ever release, it'll still be enough to satisfy! (Uber-drummer Mike Terrana performs drums on this album, after drummer Marco Bianchella injured his knee in a car accident.)
