Celebrated American funk bassist, singer and songwriter Bootsy Collins releases his brand new studio album "Tha Funk Capital Of The World". The list of guest appearances ranges from hip hop to jazz to Hollywood. "Tha Funk Capital Of The World" is Bootsy's first album of original funk material since the release of 2002's "Play With Bootsy", released on Mascot Records and features a host of great artists including hip hoppers Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Chuck D, actor Samuel L. Jackson, music legends Bobby Womack and George Duke. One of the leading figures and pioneers of funk music started his career in the late 60s as the bassist of James Brown.
