Electric King ... Plus = 3 CD = (CD)
Texas-born Freddie King was one of the greatest blues guitarists of all time and was a major influence on musicians such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Peter Green and Mick Taylor in the 1960s. The first two CDs feature live recordings from his classic repertoire from 1969 to 1975, with his signature tune "Hide Away" named after a Chicago Westside nightclub, "Mel's Hideaway Lounge." The third CD is King's studio album "Let's Hide Away And Dance Away" (1961), which contains all of his best-known tracks, including "Sen-Sa-Shun," "Side Tracked," and "San-Ho-Zay," as well as "Hide Away."
