For his third solo CD, guitar virtuoso Michael Harris delivers 12 exceptional slices of progressive rock majesty. You may have heard of Harris from his other bands Arch Rival or Surgeon. Mr. Harris certainly makes a good first impression, because this disc is great! runs the full gamut, serving up progressive metal workouts, jazz-influenced heavy rockers, sweet acoustic tracks and even some of that tasty neo-classical Malmsteenesque metal. The sheer variety on this album is quite impressive. Many instrumental rock albums follow the same ol' approach... a couple fast rockers, some mid-tempo tunes, then two acoustic ballads and maybe one electric ballad.
