Tamalpais Exchange (CD)
Formed in 1968, this talented 3-boy, 3-girl sextet named itself after a mountain north of San Francisco and anoff-Broadway stage show they'd put together. Their sole album spans hard-edged pop-rock, folk-rock and delicate hippie ballads, setting their superb vocal harmonies to highly imaginative arrangements. It makes its CD debut here, together with background notes.
