I can only imagine how a satisfying feel it must have been for Toni Visconti to pull the Osibisa card out of his diversified bag of produced acts; if Gentle Giant or T. Rex were front-runners in two of the major genres that defined the early 70's, this Multi-National septet could perfectly work like an European answer to the percussion driven Latin/Caribbean Rock pioneered by Santana and inherited by Malo and others across the Atlantic.
