Danko Jones does not simply celebrate the myth, but is a shirt-sleeved symbol of all the hard work that the preservation of the rock'n'roll heritage requires. Danko knows the sleepless nights, the endless journeys in the tour bus and all those long-distance relationships. Danko also knows the blood and sweat that goes with it. But there are no tears - because rock'n'roll is not for crybabies.
Danko Jones has lived this vagabond life with all its ups and downs for the last 16 years, as captured on the recently released DVD documentary "Bring On The Mountain" and can be read in the forthcoming band book "Too Much Trouble: A Very Oral Histoy of Danko Jones".
