Scored Fractals (CD)
BATTESINI is a lover of all sorts of instrumental musics. During his long career, that began in the Seventies, this Brazilian guitarist happened to try various musical styles, such as jazz-rock fusion, jazz, pop or Progressive rock. He's been particularly close to the latter, within QUATERNA REQUIEM, then KAIZEN. Released in 2010 on the Musea and Rock Symphony labels, "Scored Fractals" sums up the musical influences that were absorbed through different stages of the artist's life. Quite naturally, this instrumental project evolves between symphonic Progressive rock that's dear to the South-American school, jazz and classical music. The participations of Mario LEME (BACAMARTE, KAIZEN, AETHER...), William MURRAY (BACAMARTE, KAIZEN...) and Wagner ANDRE (KAIZEN), among others, are to be noted. To be discovered !
