Puerto Rico's premiere rock n' roll band has turned in a debut not to be missed. This is as solid a rock n' roll album as you're likely to hear all year. Their influences range from the obvious Stones/Stooges/punk axis to melodic, almost pretty tunes that show off their VU/Spaceman 3/Mazzy Star leanings. Imagine a Spanish speaking Black Lips crossed with a Spanish speaking Jesus & the Mary Chain and you're beginning to get the picture. Yep, all the songs are en Espanol and it sounds beautiful. Be sure to catch them live when they tour the US and Europe - their live show is an absolute party.
