80s-style Heavy Metal is what you get from Mexico's Voltax on their eponymous debut album. The songs range from Speed/Thrash, in the vein of Nuclear Assault (helped by lead singer Jerry's vocal resemblance to John Connolly), to more NWOBHM mid-paced riffing like early Iron Maiden. The production is raw, as you might expect, and Jerry is harder to understand than Tom G. Warrior with a mouth full of marbles
