The News, the band's second full-length album, is a concept piece that focuses on electronica while maintaining a singular iconoclastic and progressive approach.
From the Court of the Crimson King, Adrian Belew and Trey Gunn add their matchless genius to the tracks A Sarcastic Portrait and The Daily Dark Delirium respectively, and enhance this conceptual tale, one that is inspired by reality and a sort of caustic detachment, a protagonist in a psychological crisis at the edge of schizophrenia.
