Scottish hardcore band THE THREATS have been around since '79, and have preserved the sound, attitude, and raggedy melodicism of early punk, with some nods to hardcore and even thrash. Throwbacks or conservationists? Neither the band nor their fiercely loyal fans have any interest in debating, when such mosh-worthy anthems as "Rotten" and "Armchair Anarchists" render the question pointless.
