MINDFLOWER, a Progressive rock group born in 1994 and grown up thanks to three albums of international success, presents its latest work, "Little Enchanted Void" (Musea, 2009). Here's a concept-album in which a creature of light is travelling from chaos to purity, not far away from Genesis to Revelation !!! It is structured in an unusual way, with twenty-six short musical fragments linked to each other, in an impressionistic manner. The music is gorgeous, performed with the help of additional players (Violin, oboe, viola, cello, string quartet...). It's a brand new chamber symphonic music: the musicians use acoustic sequences (Especially delicate piano parts), electric ones, neo-classic, ambient and electro... It sometimes recalls the spirit of Anthony PHILLIPS or Peter GABRIEL, but most of the time it's just MINDFLOWER ! Melodious and worked out, this precious music haunted by airy strings and soft vocals was partly recorded in Real World studios, and mastered at Abbey Road. Fabio ANTONELLI, Fabrizio DEFACQZ and Alberto CALLEGARI's unique vision produces a sound quite different from other bands of the present scene. This new album is one of the most amazing listening experiences: soft and flowing with dreamy strings, delicate vocal harmonies, and hauntingly beautiful piano accompany the story of a search for enlightenment.
