UK collection, the third installment in Shout's successful ongoing series covering the recordings by Joe Tex released on singles for the Dial label. This collection spans the years 1969-72. Chartwise, 'Buying A Book' was a top 10 R&B hit for Joe, and 'That's The Way' reached the Top 50. The rasping Funk of 'I Gotcha' topped the R&B charts in 1971, also reaching # 2 on the Hot 100. Many of the tracks on this compilation are real collectors' items and present the best way for fans to add to their Joe Tex collections.
