In the 80's 220 Volt were one of the leading Swedish heavy metal bands. The band was formed by guitarists Thomas Drevin and Mats Karlsson in 1979, the same year Europe formed. With their second album, 'Power Games' from 1984, 220 Volt became one of Europe's most important bands in metal, alongside bands like Accept, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. 'Power Games' is undoubtedly one of THE heavy metal classics of the 80s!
