Heaven And Beyond = 2 LP = (LP)
Knight Area is a Dutch progressive rock band which was formed in 2004 by brothers Joop and Gerben Klazinga. The band is a cross-over between retro-prog and neo-prog. Knight Area originally started as a solo project of one of the brothers, but after the release of the debut album their decision was made to form a band, which now includes
guitarist Mark Bogert and bass player Peter Vink (Q65, Finch, Ayreon). During the iO Pages festival 2012, the band received the "prog award
2012" for the album Nine Paths. The award was presented by Ryo Okumoto of Spock's Beard.
The new studio album by Knight Area; Heaven And Beyond will be released on February 10 of 2017. The album artwork is custom made by Gustavo Sazes, an artist who is well-known in creating unique artwork covers for rock and progrock bands. His style definitely reflects on the
new Knight Area album, on which you will both symphonic songs and harder edged neo-prog tracks on the album with perfectly balanced
guitars and keys, all mixed by Joost van den Broek (After Forever, Epica, Star One) and mastered by Peter Brussee (Ayreon, IQ, Herman Brood).
