BRAND NEW ALBUM FROM LONG RUNNING CANADIAN THRASH LEGENDS It`s 2010 and Exciter are still delivering intense hammer down metal with their new release DEATH MACHINE. This time Exciter is working with long time producer Manfred Leidecker who produced all releases since 1990 (except for Thrash Speed Burn). The production compliments the grinding rhythms and speed that has held Exciter as one of the classic speed metal bands ever! In the studio we decided to record all the instruments and vocals at separate times, one at a time so we could focus on that one and only instrument so we could get the best sounds. As a result there is better definition on the overall production! The theme of this record is about sadistic unforgiving torture and the demented indivduals who deliver such horrific pain and suffering. Death Machines graphic artwork was done by friend and collegue Julian Illiev. This record actually has 3 covers (front, inside and back of booklet). The cover ideas were all good so we couldn`t decide which one should be the front cover so we chose all 3. Julian`s vision of what we wanted was very inspiring and I`m sure you`ll agree when you see the captivating results.
