Midas from Detroit pay homage to metal gods from Thin Lizzy to Judas Priest with their debut album were formed from the remnants of two longtime hard rock bands from Michigan, USA They came together to capture the magic of that late 70's and early 80's sound and the transition from hard rock to heavy metal. The bands that seem to influence Midas the most not only captured the sound of their era, but really molded it into their own sound.
