The sole LP by this UK blues rock band, originally issued in 1973, makes its welcome return to vinyl, including an insert featuring notes and images. Hemlock was formed by guitarist Miller Anderson after leaving the Keef Hartley Band. Also featuring the superb organ playing of Mick Weaver (ex-Grease Band), the group's gutsy, soulful brand of blues-rock found favour with audiences in America, where the guys supported the likes of Uriah Heep and Savoy Brown. Hemlock however unfortunately struggled to connect with audiences back home.
