On The Prowl (CD)
Dallas trio The Phuss have released one such album, and their third full-length On The Prowl is drowned in fuzzy guitar riffs and driving drums that will knock the beating heart out of you. It's no wonder the flat below me have been giving me evils every time I walk down the communal stairway. The Phuss are on the cusp of breaking into the big time, using paragons such as Queens Of The Stone Age and The White Stripes as their influences while at the same time stamping all over the scene like a dog scantily lifting it's leg to mark its territory.
