Nearly all of the songs on here are more enjoyable than the "finished" product that was released on Acid Bath's two albums. Not only are these versions more raw, but Dax Rigg's killer clean vocals are pushed more up to the front, making the cryptic and disturbing lyrics much easier to understand and giving the songs more power. The album versions sound somewhat suffocated and overprocessed compared to these, especially songs like Dr Seuss is Dead and Dope Fiend. Overall, anyone who really likes Acid Bath owes it to themselves to hear this stellar compilation.
