"Japandorf" is the only album from the unreleased trilogy of the same name, which Klaus Dinger recorded with the four Japanese musicians Masaki Nakao, Miki Yui, Kazuyuki Onouchi and Satoshi Okamoto between 2000 and 2007 in his studios in Düsseldorf and Zeeland on the Dutch coast
On 21 March 2008, shortly before the final cut, Klaus died of a heart attack, so that his partner Miki, together with Kazu, completed the album alone
"Japandorf" is a work whose music and lyrics repeatedly revolve around the city of Düsseldorf and especially the "Japandorf" of the Japanese community. A surprising, magical, optimistic, beautiful album - a new manifesto by Klaus Dinger.
