Passage For Lost Years = 2 LP, Red Dust = (LP)

The debut album is stylistically similar to their debut EP, just bigger in every sense. The songs are longer, as are the atmospheric post-rock sections, and the compositions are overall just more sprawling and adventurous. Fabio Brienza's vocals, both in his clean and harsh delivery, felt a bit disconnected from the material on the EP, and the harshes have improved considerably in these three years. The cleans still feel like they would find a better fit on a blackgaze record, and although A Passage for Lost Years goes into lengthy post-rock segments, they just don't hit home as well as they could.
