Our Moon Is Full = LP = (LP)
I was all set to surrender to the swells of Our Moon is Full when "Asphodel" clattered and moaned it's way into life. Unfortunately it is all low tide from there. An album full of the post-glitch patina created on that opening track would have been almost too perfect, so Strings of Consciousness mix it up with some sub-NiN industrial pop, some twinkling interludes, and some rather annoying Nick Cave-like spoken word bellowing. Eclecticism becomes a detriment in this case though, especially when they show the illuminating flash of brilliance of "Asphodel" and then abandon the formula altogether.
