I would say that most people prefer their first LP over the second. I might differ on that note only due to the fact as there is far more diversity on the second over the first record. Not that either characteristic is a fault, just a matter of choice and opinion. I believe the band sounds much more mature and not so 'stuck in a rut'. I believe this to be a good things as also they could have (had they stayed on longer) become stereo-typed whereas that second LP branches out further and proves the band to be able to go beyond 3 part harmonies and an acoustic guitar per say.
