Paradise Now - One / Eight / Five / Zero / Live = Digipack = (CD)
These two masterpieces of a Dutch group, often misunderstood, unanimous opinion prevails among connoisseurs. Group 1850 made magical music reminiscent of early Pink Floyd, a bit of the Doors and also of harder rock groups (Cream, Hendrix, Man, Deep Purple...) But the whole thing is presented here very idiosyncratic and intense. The band definitely has its very own spirit. " Paradise Now" is considered her masterpiece and it also sounds really good on this CD. The "1850 Live" album comes over there a bit rougher and more impetuous. No high end sound, but if you like the feeling of the late sixties, you will still enjoy it, because it sounds beautiful authentic.
