Kometen = Digipak = (CD)
Kometen is a rock band that just recently struck out of its orbit around the sun. With members originating from The Divine Baze Orchestra, Mårran among others, it's a recipe for success. The music can be described as a blend between the heavy riffing of Black Sabbath mixed with some influences from bands like Yes, Deep Purple and The Faces. The members of Kometen are also influenced by Swedish folk music, which makes everything even more interesting. This is their first studio album, containing ten songs about lonely mountains, the struggles of life and love. The lyrics are obviously written in English as the word radioisotope thermoelectric generator can't be found in the Swedish language and is far too hard to pronounce in Russian.

Qopheten? Kometen! - Well after listening to it more carefully it was very Purplesque bordering to early 70s rock, not so many prog rock elements as I first thought, though Sweet Juvenile was a great "straight" 7/8 pacer...after a homemade Indian sitar intro...almost sounding like it's on a normal acoustic guitar which was a fun thing I did too in the 90s I remember...but this is not QOPH.
