After thousands of gigs and well over a million miles traveled, Alice Cooper turns it up a notch on his new album, "Road."
The 22nd solo album of the shock rocker was produced by his longtime companion Bob Ezrin, who has also worked with Pink Floyd and Kiss. And Alice Cooper also relies on continuity with his band. How happy he is in this constellation, the 75-year-old has recently emphasized several times. "We wrote the songs and then recorded them live in the studio, almost completely, without changing anything afterwards. 95% of the music on the album is live in the studio. That was my intention, because I want to show off how good the band is."
"Road" comes full circle with its determination and plenty of gusto, embodying Alice Cooper's old-school spirit. It's everything you'd hope for and so much more. Hard rock at its best, played by true masters of their craft.
