After ten years of experimenting with music for minorities and intellectually minded listeners, and after releasing albums like "Plastic People" or "Backdoor Possibilities" and the resulting constantly declining sales figures, it was time to reflect on what "Birth Control" was all about and what the fans appreciated. The aim was to combine the stylistically confident, stirring rock of the initial phase ("Operation", "Hoodoo Man") with the musical influences and experiences of the first ten years The albums "Count On Dracula" and "Deal Done At Night" mark the return to classical rock, just as the band once started with "Operation" and "Hoodoo Man".
