Out of Cyprus came the band ARMAGEDDON, and their only (?) mini-CD from 1990 has been re-issued recently through the Greek label UNISOUND RECORDS. Sadly, only 4 songs are included, no bonus material, so with a playing time of just 17 minutes this is a very short affair. On the other hand, what we get to hear is quality stuff, because ARMAGEDDON is playing Melodic Hard/Heavy Rock that sounds very close to SCORPIONS circa 'Lovedrive' and 'Blackout'. The band's lead singer Jimmy Mavromatis has a great voice, although he is trying to sound like KLAUS MEINE quite a lot.
