Finally, about 4 years after publishing the "Surround Sound Offensive" in Autumn 2008, here comes the long waited sequel. In fact it was planned and promised to all the fans of surround sound to produce a whole series of such kind of album. But something cropped up! Something very positive which, however, delayed the production of the next surround album: A pool of organizers persuaded Stephan Kaske, after various studio-years and studio-albums, to go on tour again with a live-program. He really produced, composed, and rehearsed more than half a year and started touring in Autumn 2009. Out of this not only the numerous concerts of MYTHOS PLANETARIA TOURS 2009 up to 2012, gigs in churches, clubs, spa's, vernissages, and open air developed but also the live albums "Gallery Concerts" and "unabsteigbar!". Surprisingly "Sireena" discovered in addition a count for lost tape of a MYTHOS concert of 1976 ("SuperKraut") and soon after this Sireena gained the rights of the sky-vinyl "Quasar". Again extremely joyful but on the other hand with a lot of work in archive- and promotion-work for Stephan Kaske in order to publish the album 2011 resp. 2012 as optimal as possible. This effort has been rewarded in addition with the not expected realization that the number of Krautrock-Fans exceeds the fans of electric interested by many times. Despite of these various experiences of success and motivation it definitely was about the time to go ahead with the promised work on the surround project. From January 2012 onwards Kaske used the tour breaks intensively for studio work and after about 6 months the "Evolution" was finished! "Evolution" picks up the successful musical and technical recipe of the "Offensive" which made it a standard amongst surround- and high tech fans worldwide. Especially due to the optimal matching to the Dolby Pro Logic 5.1 Standard ^TM, according to which more than 90% of the surround sound systems are working. Thus international HiFi-Shops and electronic-chains ordered copies of "Offensive" for their shops in order to show their clients the ability of their equipment.
