Nana (CD)
Edward Vesala was the first Finnish jazz musician to release a proper avant garde free jazz album, so he can be considered a pioneer. 'Nana' was supposed to be recorded by a quartet, but the trumpetist fell ill. The remaining threesome (Vesala, Aaltonen and Andersen) had a just a short time to record this album, but did an excellent job.
