Steamingly esoteric death/black metal. Generally quite dark and not very picturesque in its low-tuned madness despite the adventurous occult setting. The songwriting is solid, although due to the extra shady sound here, it most likely won't sound that impressive on the first time no matter what. Humble synthlines in the background keep up suspense, and uncommon elements like opera vocals and ambience are also encountered along the way. Admittedly an interesting first LP!
