The Will To Kill (CD)
Oh man... Malevolent Creation return to form in a huge way on this, their 8th or 9th studio album. New vocalist Kyle Symons ain't quite Bret Hoffman, but his guttural roar fits Malevolents new songs like a glove. The title track rips things open with a barrage of savage riffs, compressed to brutal perfection... when about halfway in the song halts and pulls a complete 360 I was ready to label it a death metal classic. The Will to Kill is a monster of an album... rapid fire thrash riffs merge seamlessly with brutal breakdowns (a practice Malevolent pioneered, years before it became the norm). Your neck will be wrecked.
