Another great Saxon album, with the last two tracks standing out for me. "Kingdom of the Cross" continues a long standing tradition by this band to revisit the theme of an historic war / battle of the past, and to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers (like on "Broken Heroes", or "The Thin Red Line"). The closing track "Three Sheets to the Wind" is the token old-school, motorbike-down-the-motorway, straight-ahead stomper of a track, of which you will always find at least one like this on every Saxon album. The other tracks are also good, with "The Devil's Footprint" also working well to tell an old story and give visuals to the music.
