Although they appeared the who's-who of Boston hardcore, "This is Boston, Not LA" compilation in 1982, Cape Cod punks The Freeze have remained somewhat obscure outside of New England, compared with the likes of Jerry's Kids and Gang Green. Despite the aforementioned title, goofy song titles like "Nazi Fun" and the melodic vocals of Cliff Hanger have more in common with Angry Samoans (maybe with a better guitarist) than Boston hardcore heavyweights.
